Flavio Faloci has two of his designs available at the WoodenBoat store (search for 'Brando' and 'Presto'). Presto is available in kit, plan, or book form!

Marcus Wahlin hopes to offer plans for his Breithorn soon, but plans for the sail rig are available now at ALP Yachts for five Swiss francs (about $5). (Nov. 2011 update)

Peter Henderson in the UK is making vacuform sheets molded in the shape of a Footy he calls a "1299". See Footy button on his website, or take a look at a copy of his excellent instructions. Mike Mayhew in the UK has started making vacu-formed components for Footy Chinese Junks. He has drawings and instructions made up and can also supply electronic components. Email Mike at waverley.models@virgin.net for details. Click the photo at the right to see more in the Photos section.

As of Dec. 2007 Andrew Cook's "Footy 507" is in full production. It features a molded hull with built in servo mountings, carbon fiber rig, kevlar/carbon fibre matrix sails, servo arms and waterproof switch. See his website at www.gospectre.com/footy yacht.htm or see pictures here.

Victor Models is offering their V-12 Footy kit for $65. The boat looks nice and the kit sounds like it's quite complete.

Organizations

Here are the major organizations governing model yachting. These usually serve as the rule-making body for their country and designate standard classes. The Footy is not yet recognized as a class by some of these organizations YET!
